We make a lot of titanium aircraft parts for Boeing which get either painted
or otherwise treated (I'll check as to what that is, exactly -- for aluminum,
when it isn't painted, it's usually anodized, which of course, you can do in
just about any color now). Boeing specifies "white glove" handling once it
hits the finish line, as fingerprints begin the corrosion process.
