:My OM-10 is now exhibiting a few
:peculiarities - mostly centred around the flash. There's a small flash
:symbol in the viewfinder that I assume has an LED next to it. Is this
:supposed to light up when the flash is on the hotshoe on the top of the
:camera? If it helps, I'm using a Cobra "Auto 210" flash
That's what the flash symbol and the extra contact are for, but it only works
with an Olympus T Series flash (like the T20 or T32), or 100 ompatible (like
Metz SCA 300 flashes).

With such a flash the camera also automatically switches to its x-sync time. The
OM-10 does not support OTF flash.
:BTW, I'm currently waiting for a new manual from Olympus UK - £5 on its way
:to them, new manual (hopefully) on its way to me... How long do Olympus
:usually take to despatch manuals?
