Roger,
I just purchased a G40 for $145 and consider it a "decent" price but
not "great" price. Yours is a "great" price and might be in the Doris
Fang category. The biggest problem with them is that you have a very
hard time finding them to buy.

I am just in the process of acquiring a 60-300 Tamron SP lens for about $90.
Does anyone have experience with this lens? It seems to have been in Tamron's
catalogue for 20 years or more (still is), so I presume that it is popular, and
hopefully good.
I have sold my 35-105 Zuiko ($200) to finance the purchase; I use my 35-70/3.6
more anyway, and use my iS-3000 where I would otherwise use the 35-105.
Regarding the iS-3000, I have just bought a used G40 flash for $55; is that the
going rate, or did I get a good buy? They are rare in Denmark.
mvh / regards
Roger Key
