Hey all. I have the opportunity to but a Zuiko 75-150 for about $130. My
issue is that I have a 80-200 Vivitar macro, which I like. It is about 8-10
yrs. old, so it is a relatively good one from Vivitar's standards. It is a
push-pull type with 200mm being closest to the camera (i.e. not extended).
I have had good expereinces with older Vivitar lenses. For example, my
Vivitar 28mm 2.8 took sharper pics that the 2.8 f2.8 Zuiko, especially as
the edges. The 28mm Vivitar is a bigger lens though (boy would I like the
f2.0 Zuiko 28mm!!!). So what should I do? The 75-150 Zuiko is not
push-pull, but I am unsure if the upgrade is warranted. Anyone face the
same decision before or can comment on the lens? It is for an OM-1(n).
Thanks for reading!!!
