Agreed. Why don't people just use different (less vulnerable) email
software? There's certainly enough choice.

If one feels the need to announce email virus alerts to the list, the most
prudent way is to keep it very brief (an alien concept to some folks), and
provide a single link to more information elsewhere. The 'net is big enough
for us to find stuff out if we want to.
