I did look at alternatives for making one of my own a while back. From what I was able to find to make one from I concluded it would be better to buy one of the "double" type than to try fabricating one. Another alternative to bubble levels is to get Olympus screen #1-10, the one for architectural usage. It contains etched vertical & horizontal lines to handle both vertical and horizontal compositions. Unfortunately, Olympus never got around to making a #2-10 screen - which is the one I really, REALLY! wanted all along - a #2-10 with a spot metering circle would have covered virtually all of my compositional needs. However. I can't complain too much; I have a number of #1-10 screens and two bubble levels on my latest tripod. ;-) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
