[OM] 300mf4ish lens om or ?

Is the 300mf4.5 lens an ED lens. I'm looking for a 300ish lens (400 would be
just as good). I would like the lens to perform well wide open and be at least
5.6 (but prefer 4.5). The catch is cost. I'd like to keep the cost to $250 or
$300 for the lens -- any suggestions (zuiko or other brand ?)
