Les, welcome :-).
For back foam I've been using the self adhesive strip that they sell in auto
and hardware shops. It's black neoprene type material available on a roll
about 1.5m long and about 1cm wide. I cut off a suitable length and with a
steel ruler and razor blade cut it down to size. It's adhesive but not very,
so placing it is not much of a problem. In fact I usually cut it slightly
oversize and then stretch it as I place it in the back. This allows it to
enter the groove easily but it then expands once you let go and locks in.
If you can't find the stuff I mean email me off list and I'll send you a
length.

Subject: [OM] Back Foam Kits in Australia
Hi,
I am new to this list. I own a OM-1n with a standard 50mm f1.8 lens. It
takes very good photos but the sealing foam for the back is not in good
condition. Does anyone know a source for this in Australia. I also need
a number 4 shoe.
Thanks for the info here on the list. The Olympus topics are very
interesting. Do all threads get archived?
