That's right, no enterprise can afford to be complacent about its
market share these days. Look at Lotus 1-2-3, for example: it had
almost a monopoly of the spreadsheet user base under DOS, then
Microsoft stole its thunder with Windows and MS-office, which included
Excel. Lotus missed the Windows boat and has never been able to reclaim
its position.
