: I just got an Olympus IS/L A-200 H.Q. Converter 1.5X and naturally,
: the thought comes to mind "It's 49mm, on the IS cameras there is no
: appreciable light loss, so why not OM too ?"
: I'm sure this must have been addressed (and tried) before.
I have the iS/L B 1.7x converter for the iS-3000 (55mm thread) and it makes very
interesting combinations with the 80/2, 100/2, 135/2.8, 200/4 and the tele zooms
(65-200, 85-250, 50-250 from the 80mm position upward). I don't have the iS/L A
1.5x but I suppose it should work fine with the 80/2, 100/2.8, 135/3.5 and the
75-150mm/F4.
