<<Ran across one of these today in my wanderings. The lens was absolutely
mint and available for $150US. Anyone had any experience with one of these?
How does the pricing sound? Thanks.

I was just looking through my old receipts last week and found the one for my
200/3. I paid $119.00 for it. I remember the newer multicoated one had just
come out and was priced at about $140.00. The salesman at Bel Air Camera was a
jerk and obviously didn't like the hippy-type in front of him with his grubby
hands holding on to a wad of cash. So when he misquoted the price, I said
"deal."
Aside from Gary's tests, at f8 I find it hard to distinguish this lens from the
Zuiko 200/4 and 200/5. Contrary to Gary's tests, I think the Vivitar is the
sharper lens, has 2/3 of a stop speed advantange and goes near macro at 1:4.
YMMV.
It uses 72mm filters and therefore makes a good pair with the 300/4.5 Zuiko.
