Hiya all,
I am probably getting onto thin ice here, since I have taken very little
macro photo's in the past. However recently, I got the urge to do so, and
rather than run out and buy one of the beloved Zuiko's, I glued two cokin
49mm filter adaptors back-to-back (about 70FF incl. epoxy glue) such that
I can reverse a lens.
Ok, that's fun to play with - focusing distances of a few cm etc., and
I now have a number of wierd closeups of bizare details from regular
household items...
However what is the verdict of this procedure? What're the good/bad
things, compared to buying a "real" macro lens? Which lens combinations
are found good/bad for reversing etc. In short: what are your experiences?
I've thus far been using Zuiko 50/1.8 and 100/2.8 for my "playing
around" (hey, and with a step-up ring, it can even fit on the Camedia
3030z, much to the other halfs excitement). As I said: it's been playing
around, so I do not have a clear idea of what is good and what is less
good.
Mange hilsner / Sincerely
