I'd agree with Tom. I have the 35-70 3.5-4.5 for what seems like 20 years,
and it's not much more of a size penalty it seems than a 50 1.8. I had the
Cosina, and while I didn't think it was a *total* piece of crap, I'd
definitely avoid it.
