With the 2 examples of the 2S I've owned, I get more satisfactory
slides with a 1/3 stop overexposure in Auto mode. With the 2n, I don't
compensate at all. And with an early OM-2 (center-weighted curtain) I
underexpose by 1/3 stop.
The 2S meter seems to be very sensitive to bright highlights in Auto
mode. (like alot of other cameras.) Maybe I just don't have the bias
towards underexposure anymore. I remember when the only way to get deep
color was to underexpose Kodachrome. And since I got a film scanner I
prefer a brighter tranny.
