Thanks Chris. I've actually got two Optech straps in use on cameras and I'll see if I can get one to perform with the Trekker. The picture of an actual Trekker strap shows that one end has a screw on fitting for the base of the column and the other end is a loop to go around the top. "Carry with the tripod upside down for best comfort" says the caption.
