I have a Vivitar 70-150 that comes with a 2X Matched multiplier. The results
from the lens, both with and without the 2X are actually superior (in my
humble opinion) that the Zuiko. I like and use the Zuiko, because it is
there, but I still have my Vivitar -- purchased in 1976.

My experience with the 75-150/4 and a generic off-brand 2X was noticeable
loss of contrast, but the resolution didn't suffer too badly.
YMMV depending on the specific 2X used with it. Even so, still not as good
as a decent lens without a 2X.
