thinking to the idea of a tripod.

I got a Benbo Trekker for Chrismas, well EX cond from KEH for $133. I was
amazed at what good condition EX is, given that there is EX+ EX++ etc. I'm
waiting for a Giotto ballhead from another source. I'd expect that the
Benbo 1 would be better for you. The Trekker is pretty stable though, and
wacky; Like training bagpipes to stand. But, I like wacky.
