Thanks for the tips, Robert. I've already disassembled the winder as far as
you've described. No signs of corrosion or misplaced lubricant/grease, and
to the naked eye the tiny wires and circuit traces appear okay.
To go any further I'd have to remove the motor from the grip, and the
gearing from the baseplate, which I'm disinclined to do. I've gone as far
as my competence allows and fear the wrath - and penalty charges - of John
H. should I succumb to further curiosity. I'll zip it back up and send it
off for servicing - after I get the OM-2N serviced. Don't really have a
great need for a working winder yet.
