Hi Kelton:
I think you will find the KEH system, as John L. suggested, very
workable. It avoids splitting hairs among the lessor grades and avoids
grade inflation that leads to many Ex grades. On the other hand, their
BGN grade is VERY BROAD and includes a lot of what inexperienced
equipment graders might otherwise call "Excellent." IMHO, a Zuiko with
significant brassing on the aperture ring is BGN, irrespective of the
condition of the glass. Any camera brassing other than some incidental
bright marks at the strap lugs is also BGN, as per folks who have sold
equipment to KEH.
