BTW, I think this chop stick is the "tensoge" type disposable (one
time use) chop stick made of soft wood (cryptomeria, or Japan
cedar). This should be much better for cleaning than hard wood,
bamboo, plastic, or metal Korean chop sticks.
Maybe John went to NOBU in NY for dinner and enjoyed Morimoto (the
Iron Chef)'s dishes?
