OK, do this little test and you will see how DSL improves your life
and reduces your costs.
Take how much time you spend on the internet:
Take 500f that time
Multiply it by how much you make an hour
See how much it comes out to be a day. Because 500f your time is
waiting if you are on a modem.
Now take what you are paying for dial-up. Subtract that from how
much DSL will cost. Compare the numbers.
In general, DSL pays for itself if you surf for 2 hours a day, and
make more than $10 an hour. It automatically pays for itself if you
have family members using the net.
Trust me, My DSL costs me $60 more a month, but when I do the math, I
come out ahead.
