Master of Photography
Women Photographers at the National Geographic

Intimate Portraits
Wednesday, December 13

Whatever their specialties or backgrounds, all photographers must
gain access to their subjects to photograph them. Obvious as this sounds,
the ability to gain a subject's cooperation and trust is often what
distinguishes great photographers. Meet two photographers who have
distinguished themselves by their ability to enter into the lives of the
people they photograph. Karen Kasmauski has frequently covered scientific
and technical subjects such as viruses, radiation, and human population,
but on all of them she has put a human face. Jodi Cobb has ventured into
the cloistered worlds of Saudi women and Japanese geishas to produce
photographs of extraordinary sensitivity and complexity.

You can go on your own for $15, or if we connect by email ONE of you
may get in for free.

Okay, NOW email me at peterblaise@xxxxxxxxx IF you want to meet me
there.

Good luck to the FIRST one!

IF I DO NOT RESPOND TO YOU IN TIME, YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT.

I'LL RE-BROADCAST WHEN SOMEONE ACCEPTS, AND I'LL TRY TO TELL YOU IF
YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT FOR FREE!

I hope everyone else comes anyway!
