Mostly lurking, but currently busy completing the gadget you all seem to be
wanting - something that will scribe lines on an OM screen and perform Lasix
surgery. Using an old Exakta Varex body - the one with the built-in film
cutter doofer, and inspired by a late-night screening of 'Un chien Andalou'.
I had a few setbacks during the testing process, and used my time in
hospital to rethink the concept. Now, I thought, scribing the lines directly
onto the cornea would save quite a few OM screens, and I was almost complete
when my neighbour invited me to his son's circumcision celebration. Well, I
thought we really need technology which is culturally inclusive, so I've
added a little circular clamp which fits in place of the screen holder.
I would have given you a progress report sooner, but its taking me longer
than I expected to master this new braille keyboard.
Cheers,
Michael
