Although an expensive solution, I would strongly encourage you to
consider powering the T-45 with a Quantum Turbo or similar belt pack
battery. Under normal conditions, I get almost instant recharge, and
get 1 to 1.5 second recharge for full output use. The TurboZ I have
is rated to a couple hundred full discharge flashes, and an obviously
much higher number for auto/TTL use.
Weight wise, putting the battery on your belt makes the handle flash
much easier to live with, and I save an extra roll or two's worth of
wear and tear on my arm and wrist when using the TurboZ/T45 combo.
