I've seen all OM bodies with this problem and sometimes it's an easy fix,
other times it's caused by liquid damage, like coke dribbled on the camera
while around the users neck. Normal response "I would never dribble coke on
my camera" None the less, there it is.
If the damage is limited to counter area, a disassembly and wash in warm
soapy water will take it (and other sugar based liquids) right out.
Other times it gets into the rewind release assembly, the release shaft, asa
dial and on and on.
