HiSTEPHEN,
HERE IN INDIA, WEDDINGS ARE BIG-BUSINESS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS.
THEY SHOOT UPTO 20 ROLLS OF FILM AND 6HOURS OF VIDEO.
BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AT WEDDINGS, THE FOLLOWINF EQUIPMENT IS THE BEST
SUITED.
OM4T + 35~70 + WINDER 2 +T-32 MOUNTED ON CAMERA.
OM2SP + 24/2.8 + WINDER + T-32 MOUNTED ON CAMERA.
100/2.8 IN GADGET BAG AND A T20 FOR EMERGENCY USE.
THE 35~70 ZOOM IS IDEAL FOR GROUPS/ATMOSPHERE, THE CHURCH AND PRTRAITS OF BOTH
THE BRIDE AND THE GROOM.
THE 100/2.8 IS PERFECT FOR HEAD SHOTS OUTDOORS OR INDOORS.
THE 24/2.8 IS PERFECT FOR GROUP FAMILY/ FRIENDS SHOT AT THE END OF THE CEREMONY
OR AT THE RECEPTION.
SHOOT WITH THE CAMERA SET ON AUTO AND THE T32 AT TTL MODE.
THIS WILL COMPENSATE FOR LIGHT AND FREEZE ACTION INSIDE AND WILL 'FILL FLASH'
OUTDOORS.
SHOOT ALL NEGATIVE/PRINT FILM WITH TTL AUTO FLASH AT ALL TIMES.
THIS WILL RESULT IN A UNIFORM EXPOSURE AND PRINTING.
IF YOU PRINT ON GLOSSY PAPER AND GO 8 X 10" THEY WILL HAVE THAT SLICK PRO
ACTION-STOPPING LOOK.
GO FOR IT. ALSO WITH THE FLASH YOU COULD GO FOR SMALLER 'F' STOPS FOR THAT ADDED
DEPTH OF FIELD, ENHANCING YOUR IN-FOCUS PHOTOGRAPHY RESULTS.
AN OLYMPUS 2-4 SCREEN CAN HELP FOCUS INSIDE THE CHURCH.
TRY A ROLL WITH THE TTL FLASH AND SHOOT BOTH INDOORS AND OUT.
I AM SURE YOU WOULD GET CONSISTANT HIGH RESULTS.
MAKE SURE YOU CARRY PLENTY OF BATTERIES 'AA' FOR THE THIRSTY T32 & LR44 FOR YOUR
OM BODIES. CHARGED NI-CD BATTERIES ARE GOOD FOR AT LEAST 2X36 EXPOSURES WITH T32
ON TTL AUTO MODE.
SHOOT AS SOON AS THE LIGHT COMES ON IN THE FINDER.
ALSO IN A PINCH, THE WINDER BATTERIES CAN BE USED IN THE T32.
IF YOU CARRY MORE EQUIPMENT, IT WONT COME IN HANDY, PLUS YOU WILL ALWAYS BE
THINKING WHICH LENS TO USE NEXT, LIMIT YOUR ARSENAL FOR HEAVY DUTY USE.
HAVE A NICE TIME AND DO TELL ME IF THIS WORKS.
Sunil Manga, INDIA.
