Supposedly

I got no technical paper backup, but I heard the NiMH batteries are more
sensitive to overcharge, it will reduce the battery life. On the other hand
I have had very bad experience with the early Hitachi NiMH, its self
discharge rate is very high. Even the newer one is not so good, I had run
two sets of NiMH on two T32 at full power discharge during a product
shooting session, the one that freshly charged had lasted for around 110
shots while the one I have charged and stored for around 1 month only gave
around 50 shots.
