Uh, folks, the picture you're referring to is that of Isabella Rosselini (a
beautiful woman in her own right), looks like early-to-mid-1990s. I'm sure
Jane Bown would be flattered, but no, that's not her. And yes, she does have a
marvelously simple and unaffected technique. This is the kind of portraiture I
used to do with Ilford B&W films and available light. (No, I was never nearly
as good at it as Jane Bown, though I had the occasional serendipitous shot...).
Isabella Rosselini would be a nice subject. *Man*, would she be a nice
subject... 8^>
