Subject: [OM] Happy days - the OM-1 and OM-2 are back...
| ...back from the Camtech Oly hospital where they were put back into good
| health. The OM-1 was my original Oly purchase circa 1976 and hadn't
| been used in quite awhile. The OM-2 was the camera I really wanted back
| then but it didn't have a mirror lock up. This one was a spur of the
| moment buy from a local shop. Nice cosmetically, but the metering
| wasn't quite right. No wonder! JH said it had been mightily messed
| with internally and ultimately required a nervous system transplant.
| Wow! I hadn't expected that.
|
| Anyhow, they're both now good as new. Guess the OM-2s will get a little
| rest for awhile. Thanks, John!
