Ilford makes a very simple exposure meter (they call it an exposure monitor)
called an EM10. Instead of giving you the exposure you need for a particular
print, it gives you a reference relative to a baseline which you determine via
trial and error. They claim it works for B/W, colour, and especially
Cibachome (Ilfochrome). The meter is very inexpensive, especially if you
can find it second hand. You may want to consider the EM10 before spending
a small fortune on a real exposure meter.
