Depends how they price their equipment. Increasingly, buyers are willing
to bid a premium to buy from specialized re-sellers or knowledgable
owners, since so much of the underdescribed and/or poorly graded stuff
is a crap shoot. Take this for instance:

A fishing equipment seller puts up a picture of a different lens than he
is selling and writes after the auction is over (I asked if it was
187993, as per the bottom picture):
"the serial number is not as you described it is 158,6xx I dont know
alot about htese lenses but I
think you are refering too coating I cant tell if it is or not. I made
the mistake of using photos
from two lenses that I thought were identical and apparently they may
not be. If you dont want too
take the chance I understand . . ."
