Yes - but it would take quite a while, esp. if you replace the lens cap,
cover the lens with a case, etc. While in "Auto" or "Manual" mode, the
only current drain (until you fire the shutter) is throught the meter -
and that drain will be very minute in the dark. A few days, maybe even
weeks (in the dark) shouldn't be a problem.
