Back in April 00, sometime around tax time, I called the Olympus 1-800
number to request manuals for an OM-1n and OM-4. I was grateful when they
said they'd ship them free of charge in a week or two. Time went by and I
didn't see them. Well, early this week, an envelope with photocopies of the
manuals appeared at my PO Box. I'm thankful that they did in fact send
them, and I know this costs Olympus some $, but it seems like it'd be more
reasonable if they charged a small fee and acted more promptly. Still,
there are things in the OM-4 manual that I've not managed to figure out for
myself, and I'm glad to have it.
