Best price I've seen anywhere for a new retail example of that lens is B&H's
Website, where it's listed for $479.95 U.S. At least, that's the price I
bought mine for. On the other hand, list price is $883.20 U.S. $1,000.00 U.S.
sounds too high -- as in "highway robbery." ;-)
