Ebay can be pretty frustrating from overseas - sellers are often a bit,
dare I say, chauvinistic. They low bid on non-US auctions and many won't
sell to overseas buyers - some forget to uncheck the US-only default but
some are quite fierce about it and won't even countenance Canada at times.
Very frustrating when you see that 49-72 ring for the only time ever! Then,
there's payment! The credit card systems don't work outside North America
(or didn't) and many Americans seem to have difficulty buying and sending
an international postal order (for small items, wiring the money is too
expensive).
I've managed to trade, but...
Andrew
(Oh, and then they keep calling me "mate" - errgh)
