This is not the answer I'm afraid, but someone else might be able to
infer the answer from it: I use Eudora (v4 & 5) on a Mac. I never
have any trouble with the width of text, pictures or different
formats of type. In addition, most of the pictures that are sent
(not to the List) come out well on this platform/application
combination. Now, you would expect otherwise wouldn't you, as the
Mac is often playing catchup in the compatibility stakes.
BTW, this is sent allowing MIME Quoted Printable, but I have not used
any "tarting" up with HTML. Let me know anyone if it gives problems.

Dear All,
This is OT but brief. Can anyone tell me why the List is sometimes
filled with gargbage that seems to be due to the inability of MIME
format to present itself in a sane manner? Also, why do some people's
postings stretch several feet across the screen instead of having a
sensible line-wrap? Just curious!
