I am pretty sure that it is only the OM1(N) that has a problem with
metering with a brighter screen. In Franz Pangerl's book "The World
of OM Systems" he mentions that the 1-5 and 1-7, which are clearer
than the 1-13, let more light reach the metering cell and therefore
offer an intrinsic error unless the camera is recalibrated. Now, the
OM2 in Auto would compensate anyway as the meter measures light
reflected from the film. The later cameras don't have a metering
cell in the pentaprism and so the change in light transmissions
levels offered by a brighter screen does not affect the exposure.
