I think it's ABS, but I'm not certain. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's
soluble in chloroform or carbon tet (if you can get hold of those -
they're both now known to be carcinogenic so don't breathe the vapour
or spill them on your hands). Good old acetone might also work.
try a teensy drop on something innocuous, like the inside of a battery
cover & see.
