Dear All,
A few weeks ago, our List Administrator urged us to SNIP out the
irrelevant parts of a thread when posting a reply. This could go a long
way to reducing the volume of text with which we are bombarded.
However, to date his advice seems not to be followed very closely. I've
noticed, in particular, that quite often a humorous on-line rejoinder
can be followed by an entire thread taking up several screens. Maybe
this happens because it's not immediately obvious to the sender what
it's going to look like when it hits the List. Please let's take that
little bit of extra time to eliminate irrelevant stuff and keep the
List brief!
Regards,
=====
