Re the 35-70 debate; i have to put a vote in for the 35-105. The
extra range and close focus are v.useful to me. The huge variation in
used prices is also amazing in the UK; I got my second after the
first was pinched from the YHA in Seatle for £90 in near mint
condition ($150). However I have seen them for as much as £270 ($450)
in some places.
At the weekend I finally found an 4Ti at I price i could "afford" so
put a deposit down and will pick it up next week. After 4
years of the 2sp and 8 of the 4, it's finally time for full-sync
flash and titanium-clad extravagance.
