Big ditto there, Hank. This list has, collectively, an amazing degree of
talent, yet it's also quite diverse. If often tire of reviewing and
commenting on photos seen on other forums - tho' I do so, with
encouragement, for the sake of new photographers who ask for constructive
criticism. But there's such depth of creativity among OM listfolk I feel
I've hardly scratched the surface.
That's an important reason why we should excuse one another's occasional
forays into off-topic never-never-land. Despite the fact that, for example,
Jan and I may not agree regarding certain topics, I'm absolutely jealous
with admiration of the panoramic work and VR movies he's created on his
website (which I saw the other day while hunting for the "bleeding heart"
image he referred to - hint, hint).
I've tried to visit every list member's website when a URL was available,
just to get a better feel for everyone's personality, ideas, etc. It's very
enjoyable.
It also makes it very difficult for me to let a debate over differences of
opinion degenerate into a personal dislike when I admire someone's talent
and insights.
