Somebody at my work felt threatened by his neighbor and when the
neighbour entered his front yard aggressively after an argument, he shot and
killed him. He is now serving a 16year + 2 years (for gun) sentence. He had a
clean record was a gun enthusiast, although in favour of some gun control. He
may never get out of jail as the sentence was 18years "to life". The chance
of a governor releasing somebody with a violent felony conviction is close to
nil.
