Mmm...musta been another feller. For Jakarta I'd pack a WA, a moderate zoom
a bulk film back and the fastest motor drive I could handle. Loaded with
Kodachrome - nothing handles that kinda heat and humidity better. Personal
protection would be a well armed contingent of the finest Indonesian mercs
money could buy.

So, it was you! I thought the moon was looking a bit sick lately but I
put it down to Jakarta's atmospheric pollution. Still, Bill Ruger must
be really proud. I never realised the SP101 was capable of such a
range: must be all of 1/4 million miles, and then there's the escape
velocity to think about - something like 7 miles/sec? BTW, what caliber
were you using? I know, don't tell me: 35mm, right?
