Well folks, it has been fun. But all of this weight
comparision has gotten out of hand. I've had it. I'm
out of here. This isn't Weight Watchers! And the
guns, crime and Texans wanting to fight the Alamo all
over again must stop. I can't handle one more post on
the Audi TT as it isn't anything I could drive right
now. Mercedes? Porsches? What is it with the love
affair with German autos? Don't you know that the
number one desired vehicle right now throughout most
of the western world is the Jeep Cherokee. SUVs
RULE!!!!!
Tom Scales is even more offensive with his non-stop
buyng of every bit of OM and Zuiko equipment in the
world. He has singlehandedly taken 720f all
available OM system components off the market. He
must be doing another "Hunt Brothers" routine on us by
driving prices up sky high and then he will dump his
entire collection on the market making millions. His
purchase of that Corvette was probably in anticipation
of the proposed windfall.
The bickering over who has the biggest leadfoot must
stop too. I'll challenge anybody to a good round of
Nascar Racing II.
Finally, I am about to go postal over the fact that
the guy in the next cube from me has Willy Nelson
playing on his computer!
I'm signing off and will think long and hard about
ever signing on again. <pause> OK, I'll come back,
but only after my vacation next week. We are
departing after work tomorrow and I won't be back
until October. We're heading up to the Upper
Peninsula of Michigan for some quality time with the
Porcupine Mountains, waterfalls, fall colors,
wildlife, trails, copper country, and Lake Superior.
I'm taking the bulk of my equipment, but not inside a
camera bag. I'm using a small fanny pack and my
fisherman vest to hold everything. I am only taking
the 3021 tripod because of space, but just might--if I
can sneek it in--take my small pod too. I got plenty
of Provia-F and T400CN to shoot.
Have fun everyone and don't kill each other off.
