Paul, that's called "Disturbance of a crime scene," "Tampering with evidence" 
and "Mishandling a corpse." All are illegal. Better wait until the burglar 
climbs in the window. 
;-) Unless, of course, you live in one of those states with the assinine law 
requiring you to retreat if you have the option. Can you believe a law which 
requires you to abandon your home to an intruder? Maybe you are allowed to 
shoot them with your OM as you back out the door.
