Good article. Well, I would say that since it largely reflects my own
approach to the subject (I'm the one who traded in his PK gear for a 2SP
because it had spot metering). I tend to use manual mode though (for
the obvious reason that spot metering doesn't work in auto mode with a
2SP - still waiting for 4Tis to become affordable). The other major
difference between us (erm apart from doing it professionally that is)
would be the typical size of venue & lighting. 1/250 at F/4? not in
any of the places I frequent! My best to date (IMO) needed 1/30 at 2.8
on ISO400 (Ilford XP2). You can still see that one in the unofficial
Oly gallery at
http://www.taiga.ca/~gallery/subpages/nichols/grist02.html
Real soon now it will appear in my personal site also, along with lots
of others.
