Ian
Welcome back. I have just re-subscribed after a layoff moving house
etc... I am almost overwhelmed by the bulk of emails that has
flooded in ;-).
On the subject of bulk, how do you deal quickly with scanning
negatives and slides? I assume that you are using a slide scanner
rather than a flatbed.

Subject: I'm back again
Due to a series of long weekends away from any sort of computer, well,
maybe a Psion, and no time in between to catch up, I've been
uns*ubscribed for a while. I now have an enormous backlog of scanning to
do (3 festivals, a bike show and a couple of rolls of Velvia from last
weekend's trip back to Wales with the stereo rig).
Maybe somewhere in there is a possible TOPE3 entry.
A recent winning streak on Ebay has added a Tamron 28mm 2.8, which means
the stereo rig can now do 28mm as well as 50mm.
My website continues to grow slowly. Since I last posted anything here
the "Urban" section has been added and the "landscape/nature" section
expanded, although most of the additions there are already in the
unofficial Oly gallery. That just leaves the page full of links and The
live music section. I've picked out the pictures that will go in there,
but it may take me a while to add the comments and get the pages up,
what with the scanning backlog and all.
What's been happening whilst I've been gone?
