I no longer use a polarizer on < 35mm lenses unless the shot is a vertical
and not predominantly full of sky or water, although occasionally even that
is OK as long as you don't "dial in" the full effect. If I shoot with
polarizer on a wide, I always make at least one shot without for insurance.
