I don't have an OM-3, but I have experience with the 1-x and 2-x (brighter)
screens in my OM-2S and OM-4. I'm pretty sure the viewfinder in the OM-4 is
the same as the one in the OM-3.
Bottom line is a 2-x screen is probably the most cost effective investment
you can make in your OM-2S, OM-3(Ti) or OM-4(T(i)). I find the screens much
easier to focus with, especially in dim light ('natch). I only wish they had
a 2-10 and a 2-14...
I think some on the list prefer the Beattie screens, but I've never tried
those, so can't comment. They are more expensive than the Oly 2-x screens,
too.
