I find the 35-105 big and heavy compared to the 35-70 f3.5-4.5 (I now have
both). Also, it's a one-touch zoom, and I prefer two-touch. The little 35-70
fits in my LowePro waistpack as it's hardly any bigger or heavier than the
50 f1.8.
BTW because I love and use the 35-70 so much, the 35-105 is for sale. Only
one drawback: it has a couple of small scratches on the front element, which
have NO effect on optical performance. £100 + postage. I can supply jpegs if
